Why membership based bike repair?

Because it is so much cheaper and safer than choosing a random bicycle shop.

Most people do not think they spend a lot of money on their bikes, but when calculating it becomes a lot. No matter what membership you choose at ours’s it will be a lot cheaper than what you usually spend during a year.

For us, it is not the individual we earn money from but the whole. We can make purchases cheaper when we have a lot of members, so in this way, we save money and can make the membership cheaper for you.

  • At the same time, you know that your bike is being treated respectfully by mechanics with good working conditions.

What type of membership fits me?

Most people puncture a couple of times a year and all bikes need a check and oil once awhile. Therefore, Basic-membership is a really good idea. Here, you get all the basic things done on your bike and there is a discount for you if you need anything else fixed.

Would you like full security, choose a Pro-membership. The price is a little higher but without a doubt, it is full value for money compared to what you would normally spend during a year. You can also choose a Family-membership if you are four people or four bikes.

We also have a membership for cargo bikes.

If you do not have a bike, choose our bike rental.

How do I find you?

RepMyBike belongs to Copenhagen Bicycles. We are located:

    Sat: 9.30 – 16.00

The opening hours will increase, while Denmark opens up more and more from Covid19.

Are you always open?

Yes and no.

We are not physically open 24/7, but you are welcome to place your bike in front of our shop in Nyhavn outside of opening hours. We will repair it during opening hours. Find an instruction on the door.

For how long time must I pay?

Only for a month, unless you choose more months to get a discount.

Do you have good working conditions?

Yes! It is extremely highly prioritized.

Copenhagen Bicycles, which we are a part of, has entered the agreement for good working conditions (Industriens Overenskomst and Industriens Funktionæroverenskomst). Our shop is certified by Danske Cykelhandlere (the Danish Bike Shops). We are also a part of GoGreen: Sustainable shops. We have the green smiley from the Danish Working Environment Authority and we received the Copenhagen Business Prize in 2018.

What happens if I lose a replacement bike/rental bike?

If you lose one of our bikes and if you have your own insurance to cover, that is enough. If you do not have insurance, we will charge 1000 DKK for a lost bike. You will get a new bike straight away and the membership will continue.

Do you have a solution for children?

Yes, sure. Junior bikes are included equal to adult bikes when it comes to repairing.

Does the price raise?

No, not for you.

Only for new members. Not for you who is already a member. Your advantages will actually get better and better over time!

Can I get in and out of the membership?

You can sign up for our repair service once a year. We do not want to be taken negatively advantage of.

If you need a rental bike on/off during a year, feel free to contact us at kontakt@repmybike.dk and we will build a solution for you.

Do you charge automatically?

Yes, the money will be charged automatically the same day as you signed up. So if you signed up on the 7th, you will be charged every 7th.

What types of bikes do you repair?

We service what we call ”normal bikes”. A “normal bike” is a bike you use as an everyday- og commuter bike. Electric bikes are also included but we do not service electric parts.

The membership belongs to the bike. So one membership is for one specific bike. Do you have more bikes for us to repair, you will have more memberships.

We do service cargo bikes. You must choose our cargo bike membership for this occasion.

Are you in doubt if your bike is covered, feel free to sign up and pass by. If we do not approve your bike, we will cancel your membership and return your payment.

Can I freely choose spare parts?

We choose the parts we use for your bike. Of course, they are high quality – otherwise, we would lose a lot by having to repair the bike over and over. Would you like some very special spare parts, we can easily use these ones. You will have to pay for them – you get a 15 % discount.

Can I get a replacement bike?

Yes, for free!

Do you repair children's bikes?

Yes, equally to adult bikes.

The membership belongs to the bike. So one membership is for one specific bike. Do you have more bikes for us to repair, you will have more memberships.

Are you repairing electric bikes?

Yes, we do repair electric bikes, but not the electric part.

Are you repairing cargo bikes?

Yes, if you have signed up for the membership for cargo bikes. You can choose is under our membership “Basic”.

Do you service at my address?

Right now, we do not. We would lose a fortune on it. But we are placed next to Central Station which is super easy to reach. When having enough members, we are planning to extend our service with a drive out-service.

Are spare parts included?

Yes, all spare parts are included in whatever membership you choose. Work hours are as well.

Are you covered by the agreement for good working conditions?

Yes, all our mechanics are covered by the agreement for good working conditions.

What do you mean by “full coverage” at the PRO-package?

Full coverage is everything you most often need to get repaired:

  • New tubes
  • Oil
  • Tightening
  • General check
  • Cleaning
  • Gears
  • Brakes
  • Spokes (tightening and changing)
  • Tires
  • Chain
  • Pedals

If you need anything else repaired, you get 15 % off. We promise you it is worth it!

Is there any reclamation on the work?

Are you unsatisfied with our repair, bring back the bike and we will take a look at it again. We are always reasonable.

Can I rent a bike through you?

Yes!

We have city bikes, wheel sizes 28’’ and x-small 26’’.

We also have junior bikes.

How does your bike rental service work?

In our membership ”Bike By Us”, you can rent a bicycle from us. Repair is included, It means that by renting at ours, you always have a functioning bike.

We both have adult bikes in a standard city bike wheel size 28’’ and x-small 26’’. We also have junior bikes.

You are welcome to pass by and try one before renting it.
